Today, the Wycieczki-do-Czarnobyla.PL project is one of the leading companies in Poland in organizing the most interesting trips to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone. The aim of our project is to comprehensively organize high-quality trips on a new level. That's why we conduct tours to the Chernobyl Exclusion Zone!
A tour to the exclusion zone itself is an absolutely new type of trip! As a tour operator, we see it as an excellent opportunity to explore the Chernobyl Zone from the inside, touch the wild nature and the half-forgotten culture of contaminated Polesie, and see something more than just photos or videos on the screen.
So let's start by describing our one-day tour that is the most popular.
Our own comfortable and modern air-conditioned Mercedes Sprinter minibuses depart daily from the centre of Kiev - Maidan Nezalezhnosti. Our guides and drivers speak English and Polish. Drivers receive instructions on how to safely travel with our passengers - we only employ top-class professionals.
We pay great attention to the training of guides. Young, competent and with a great sense of humor - our guides will answer most of your questions about Chernobyl and the Exclusion Zone.
Don't worry about cash! We also accept: credit cards, PayPal, Stripe, transfers. You can also book and pay by calling +380675211372.
The tour is 100% safe. You have to follow very simple rules that you sign when entering the Exclusion Zone. The most important thing to remember is to be always careful and follow the guide’s instructions. Watch tutorial videos for more information on precautions and safety when participating in Chernobyl Exclusion Zone tours.
When deciding to visit Chernobyl, see the following tips to help you enjoy your tour. Unfortunately, we have witnessed too many disappointments so we just need to share these thoughts with you.
Book in advance! We're not trying to cheat you when we say that. Of course, booking in no time works. Urgent trips "for tomorrow" - we accept the requests after 5 pm. This means you can book your trip for tomorrow overnight. But you'd better give yourself at least a week to prepare.
Let yourself have a rest in Kiev for at least one day if you are traveling from abroad. This will also be useful in case of a flight delay.
Please rest properly before starting the tour. Don't let fatigue ruin a trip you've probably dreamed of for a long time.
Alcohol is very cheap in Ukraine, but please take your time the day before. And think of other travellers who will be on the bus with you throughout the tour.
Beware of theft in public transport and on the street! Losing your wallet and passport will not only cancel the tour, but will also make the visit a nightmare of obtaining a travel document at a consulate in Ukraine.
Personal radiation dosimeters and Geiger counters are different things. PRDs are provided by the authorities to measure the radiation exposure to humans during the tour (required and included in the price). But the data from these dosimeters can be read on special equipment (no sensor and no display). Geiger counters show actual radiation levels on a digital display in microsieverts (these are optional and cost $ 8 per day).
