HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO TRAVEL FROM KIEV TO CHERNOBYL?
The distance from Kiev to Chernobyl is about 180 kilometers. The journey from Kiev to Chernobyl takes approximately 2 hours and includes a stop for breakfast and coffee.
IS IT SAFE TO GO TO CHERNOBYL?
We are often asked the question: are Chernobyl tours safe? The answer is yes. The Chernobyl Exclusion Zone is under strict control and regulation. We visit areas that have been hit hard by the disaster, but we don't stay around long enough for it to have any repercussions. On our trips to the Chernobyl area we go through some radiation checks to make sure everything is ok.
HOW LONG CAN YOU STAY IN CHERNOBYL?
Our exclusive Chernobyl tours can be organized for 1 to 5 days. During the tour, if you stay for a night, you will stay in the hotel in the city of Chernobyl, where the workers who are currently dismantling the Chernobyl nuclear power plant are staying. Meals are included in the tour price.

The hotel complex "Chernobyl" is actually former apartment buildings, converted into hotel rooms. In the controlled area of the city of Chernobyl, there are three comfortable Soviet-era hotels with a shop nearby and a garden where you can enjoy local food and drink.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO VISIT THE CHERNOBYL NPP?
Yes, access to Reactors 3 and the infamous 4 is now open to the guests on personalized tours. You will receive all the necessary safety equipment before entering the reactors, the golden corridor and the control room.
CAN I VISIT CHERNOBYL WITHOUT A GUIDE?
No, entrance to the Chernobyl zone is only possible with a guide, authorized by the Ukrainian government. Any attempts to enter the area illegally are advised against due to the high risk of an unguided expedition. All our guides have been working in the Chernobyl zone since its opening, one of them was even born there.
